LASER HAIR REMOVAL
At Clinic 23 we only use the very best medical grade equipment and for our Laser Hair Removal we use the 3D-Trilogyice machine to provide a comfortable but effective laser hair removal experience. This latest advance in laser hair removal technology heats beneath the skin to alter the function of the hair follicle. The melanin within the hair attracts the laser pulses to conduct heat, resulting in permanent hair reduction as it kills off the hair! Our machine uses three waves of Laser meaning it can target three depths of the hair resulting in quicker treatment times and results.

Before any course of treatments, we ensure a full consultation is carried out. We start with a full consultation, skin and hair analysis, along with a patch test to determined skin suitability and check how the skin reacts to various settings on the machine to determine the most effective setting for you. Each treatment is personalised to you and the area of the body we are treating.
We are an approved Laser Clinic within the Tamworth Borough, Hold a Level 4 NVQ Laser qualification and have the correct standards in place to keep you and the treatment as safe as possible - Including the safety goggles!

After each treatment, hair regrowth is reduced by up to 20% with a course of 8-10 treatments being the recommended amount. However, a bespoke treatment plan will be devised during your consultation to determine how many sessions are required, some clients need more and some need yearly maintenance sessions.

Using a laser hair removal device delivers light energy closer to the follicle and prevents regrowth. This means that laser hair removal can achieve much quicker results than IPL. In most cases, you will achieve greater results with a course of laser hair removal than you would with a course of IPL.
Laser hair removal is also better suited to those with a darker skin tone than IPL. Darker skin naturally absorbs more light than paler skin and this can pose a risk when using IPL as the darker skin can heat up and burn. When using a laser, there is less chance of negative side effects as the light is targeted with more precision than when using IPL devices.

The treatment time varies depending on the size of the area that you would like to treat but typically ranges between 15 to 45 minutes per application. Due to the precision application and cooling technology incorporated into this machine, the treatment is virtually painless, a slight tingling is felt and occasionally a warm sensation. Skin can be slightly red following the treatment.

This treatment can be carried out on practically all areas of the body making this treatment suitable for both men and women. However, the inside the labia cannot be treated when having a full Hollywood treatment or the nostrils but we do offer waxing to minimise the hair in these areas.
